Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren switched from playing the waiting game to proactive mode on Tuesday, flying out 33 MLAs of the 49-strong coalition government to a resort in Raipur amid whispers of BJP trying to poach them. The move came after six days of suspense over governor Ramesh Bais’s silence on the EC’s presumed recommendation to disqualify Soren as an MLA.
