The Supreme Court on Tuesday dismissed Uddhav Thackeray’s plea and allowed Election Commission (EC) to decide which of the two groups will be recognised as the ‘real’ Shiv Sena. A constitution bench headed Justice D Y Chandrachud passed the order after hearing both the factions and also election commission for over five-and-half hours.
