Gopal Italia, the Gujarat chief of the Aam Aadmi Party, was on Thursday detained from outside the NCW office in the national capital by Delhi Police. Italia had been summoned by the NCW today for questioning . He had recently stoked controversy over a purported remarks asking Hindu women not to go to temples. He was heard berating the Prime Minister and making derogatory remarks in another video.
