JAMMU: The Government on Monday constutrued a committee for smooth conduct of 3rd Khelo India National Winter Games 2023 in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Sanction is accorded to the constitution of a Committee for ensuring all logistics and other arrangements for smooth conduct of 3rd Khelo India National Winter Games 2023 to be held in the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir,” read an order issued by Dr Piyush Singla, Secretary, General Administration Department.
As per order, the committee will be headed by Administrative Secretary, Youth, Services and Sports Department as its Chairman/Convenor while Members of the Committee include Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla; Managing Director, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Ltd; Commissioner, JMC/SMC; Director, Tourism, Kashmir; Director Information, J&K; Director General, Hospitality J&K And Protocol; MD, JK Regional Transport Corporation; Director, Health Services, Kashmir; Representative of SSP, Security, Kashmir; Commandant, SDRF, Srinagar; Chief Engineer, Jal Shakti, Kashmir; Regional Transport Officer, Kashmir; Representative of Culture Department (Not below the rank of Additional Secretary); Representative of Director General, Fire and Emergency Services, J&K; and Secretary, J&K Sports Council will be its Member Secretary.
