Jammu: In a quest to stern menace of illegal mining, a multi-pronged strategy was devised by Jammu Police in which police teams of Police Stations Bagh e Bahu, Bishnah, Police Posts Bathindi and Phallain Mandal acted stringently on specific inputs and raided at a location in their respective area and seized 7 vehicles involved in illegal mining.
The seized vehicles included two dumpers (JK02CM 8121 and JK02CR 8221) seized by Bagh e Bahu Police; a tractor-trolley without registration number seized by Bishnah Police; two dumpers (JK02DC6538 & JK02CV7098) and a Tipper (JK02CJ 9645) seized by Bathindi Police and a tractor-trolley bearing Chassis No. MBNBG53AGLCN05947 seized by Phallain Mandal Police. The recoveries were made by SHO Bagh e Bahu Inspr Surinder Raina, SHO Bishnah Inspr Vikram Sharma, In-Charge Police Posts Bathindi SI Shakil Ahmed and Phallain Mandal-PSI Ajesh Singh Jamwal in their respective jurisdiction.
