Going by its commitment to provide quality and evidence based management to Cancer Patients of J&K, AOI brought new dimension by starting Radiotherapeutic emergency services.
There are few radiotherapeutic emergencies which need urgent attention and one of such case landed in AOI JAMMU at ASCOMS Sidhra who needed urgent Radiation treatment for profuse bleeding. On Sunday a team comprising Dr Deepak Abrol, Senior Consultant Radiation Oncology, Manjinder Kaur Medical Physicist and Shubham Negi RTT planned and delivered the Radiation treatment and initiated the Emergency Radiation Oncology services. Dr Neeraj Bishnoi, Regional COO and Vikrant Thakur, Facility Director appreciated the efforts of treating team and reiterated commitment of AOI Jammu to go any extra mile to provide 24 × 7 help to cancer patients.
