JAMMU: JK Public School Kunjwani paid rich tribute to martyrs on Pulwama Shaheed Diwas. Recollecting the supreme sacrifice made by those 40 martyrs who lost their lives in the Pulwama terror attack, students of Grade V presented a poignant assembly programme to mark the day. Omkeshwar, an extremely promising student from the class presented a motivational thought.
“Our flag does not fly because the wind moves it. It flies with the last breath of each soldier who died protecting it”.
Pumping more josh into the heart of the audience, Shayna Sharma reflected, “as the nation has entered into the fourth year of Pulwama Terror attack, so we assembled here today to offer our tributes to the brave hearts, who sacrificed their breaths to safeguard the honour of the motherland”.
“My fellowmates, we all are standing here safely just because of them. While they were facing all the odds on the borders, the toughest of terrains & carrying out the toughest of duties.
They….. who for their country died, shall fill an honoured grave, for glory lights the soldiers’ tomb and beauty sweeps the brave”, she further added.
“It’s a red-letter day to pay our rich tribute, a day of soulful remembrance. It’s a day to realize the sacrifices made by our real heroes.
I would conclude by saying that we need unconditional and selfless love for our country to actually give it everything, including our life”, she summed up .
“Pulwama Shaheed Diwas shall be paid rich tribute by the entire nation on 14th Feb to recollect the black day, when an explosive laden vehicle rammed into a CRPF convoy, wherein 40 CRPF personnel embraced death in 2019.
It is believed that our martyrs join the ranks of immortals till the nation keeps them alive in its consciousness and collective memory. Mother India feels proud of its every braveheart and offers each one of them a heart-warming homage”, stated the Principal JKPS Kunjwani Rajesh Rathore.
