JAMMU, Mar 30: A hardcore criminal was arrested with a country-made pistol here at Miran Sahib Area of the District today, police said.
They said Yudhvir Singh @Bablu Jatt of Agra Chak, RS Pura, who is a history-sheeter, was wanted in 18 cases registered in different Police Stations of Jammu District.
“He was arrested with a country-made pistol during routine naka checking at Miran Sahib today,” said police.
The accused has been booked in case FIR number 69/2023 under section 3/25 of the Arms Act registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and further investigation taken up.
Pertinently, the arrest was made by a team of Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO concerned, Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh and overall supervision of SP Headquarters, Ramnish Gupta.
