Madhya Pradesh home minister Narottam Mishra has ordered the police’s Special Branch to investigate the “circumstances” surrounding Anju Thomas’ journey to Pakistan, where she has reportedly married a Facebook friend, Nasrullah. Mishra expressed concern over the way Anju was being received in Pakistan and the people she was meeting, saying it has “raised doubts about the nature of her visit”.
