JAMMU, Aug 19: Design-Aid Box, a Jammu based Architecture and Design studio run by Ar. Angelika Ajrawat and Ar. Jayaditya Kotwal, became the only architecture studio from the UT of Jammu & Kashmir to have won The National Architecture and Interior Design Excellence Awards.
Design-Aid Box won the “Most Promising and Futuristic Architecture and Interior Design Firm of The Year 2023, North India Award” under the residential projects category. The firm’s commitment to innovative design and its unwavering pursuit of excellence have earned it a spot in the elite award of “Top 30 Rising and Trendsetter Architects in India”.
The awards were presented to the duo by Ar. Ash Parekh and Dr. Ponni M. Concessao, at the Architecture and Interior Design Excellence Awards and Conference 2023- Global Edition, at the Taj Westend Hotel, Bengaluru.
Both architects, Ar. Angelika Ajrawat and Ar. Jayaditya Kotwal are alumni of the prestigious Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Katra, J&K. Design-Aid Box runs their operations from their offices in Gandhi Nagar and Bahu Plaza South Block and have their projects spanning across the UT of J&K, with maximum projects concentrated in the Jammu region and various others in areas like Akhnoor, Rajouri etc. The Architecture Studio has a handful of Architecture and Interior Design Projects located in Leh, Kargil, NCR region, etc.
