A 19-year-old Dalit passenger was raped by two drivers of a private bus traveling from Kanpur to Jaipur. The Jaipur police have arrested one driver, Arif Khan, and are searching for the co-driver, Lalit Kumar. The crime occurred in the Kanota police station area. The survivor was on her way to meet her uncle in Jaipur for a job opportunity. The accused locked her inside the driver’s cabin and increased the music volume to muffle her screams. Other passengers became suspicious and forced the bus to stop near a petrol pump.
