Congress on Saturday removed Priyanka Gandhi as the party in-charge in Uttar Pradesh as it announced key organizational changes ahead of Lok Sabha elections 2024.The grand old party has appointed former Rajasthan deputy CM Sachin Pilot as the head of Chhattisgarh Congress and Ramesh Chennithala as its in-charge of Maharashtra.Priyanka Gandhi will remain the party general secretary without any assigned portfolio, Congress said in a statement. Priyanka Gandhi will be replaced by Avinash Pande, who will now be the party in-charge of Uttar Pradesh.
