The face of Ram Lalla’s idol was revealed ahead of the grand consecration ceremony in Ayodhya. The idol, sculpted by Arun Yogiraj, depicts Lord Ram as a smiling five-year-old child. It is a 51-inch black stone idol placed on a throne in the sanctum sanctorum. The idol made of ‘shyamal’ (dark) stone, is standing atop a lotus crafted of the same stone.
