JAMMU, Jan 22: The Government today ordered transfer and posting of 33 police officers.
As per an order, IPS officer Shivam Siddharth, who was awaiting adjustment, has been posted as Superintendent of Police, North Jammu vice Kulbir Chand Handa, who has been further posted as Deputy Commandant, IR-18th Battalion, against an available vacancy.
The order further said that Ranjit Singh, SP, awaiting adjustment, has been posted as Deputy Commandant, JKAP 8th Battalion; Azhar Bashir Baba, Additional Superintendent of Police Security, Kashmir, has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, APCR Kashmir, against an available vacancy; Arif Amin Shah, Superintendent of Police (Headquarters), Srinagar, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commandant SKPA-9th Battalion against an available vacancy; Naresh Singh, Additional Superintendent of Police, Shopian, has been transferred and posted as Joint Director (Headquarters) SSF Srinagar vice Brijesh Kumar Sharma; Rajinder Singh, Additional Superintendent of Police, Kishtwar, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commandant IR-21st Battalion against an available vacancy, and Mohammad Anwar-ul-Haq, Additional Superintendent of Police, Udhampur was transferred and posted as Additional Superintendent of Police, PCR, Jammu.
Vivek Shekhar Sharma, Additional Superintendent of Police, Rajouri, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commandant IR 15th Battalion against an available vacancy; Feroz Ahmad, awaiting posting, has been transferred and posted as ASP, Pulwama, vice Tanweer Ahmad Dar who has been posted as ASP Kulgam vice Shabir Ahmad; Zoheb Tanweer, SP, North Srinagar, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commandant IR-8th Battalion against an available vacancy; Amit Verma, SP West Srinagar, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commandant, IR-17th Battalion against an available vacancy; Mashkoor Ahmad Zargar, SP Hazratbal, Srinagar, has been transferred and posted as SP (Rural) Jammu vice Rahul Charak, who shall report to the Police Headquarters till further orders, the order said.
The order added that Farhat Jeelani, ASP Kupwara, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commandant JKAP-14th Battalion against an available vacancy; Shabir Ahmad, ASP Kulgam, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commandant, Border Battalion Srinagar, against an available vacancy; Vishal Manhas, awaiting adjustment, has been posted as SO to IGP Jammu Zone against an available vacancy; Hilal Khaliq Bhat, awaiting adjustment, has been posted as SP Hazratbal-Srinagar vice Mashkoor Ahmed Zargar; Fahad Tak, awaiting adjustment, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commandant, IR-10th Battalion against an available vacancy; Imtyaz Ahmad Rather, awaiting adjustment, has been posted as SP, West Srinagar vice Amit Verma; Shah Umar, awaiting adjustment, has been posted as SP Headquarters Srinagar vice Arif Amin Shah; Baljit Singh, awaiting adjustment, has been posted as ASP Udhampur vice Mohammad Anwar-ul-Haq; and Ghulam Mohammad Bhat, awaiting adjustment, has been posted as ASP Kupwara, vice Farhat Jeelani.
Aejaz Ahmad Malik, awaiting adjustment, has been posted as Deputy Commandant IR 2nd Battalion against an available vacancy; Ruhail Mircha, awaiting adjustment, has been posted as ASP Security, Kashmir vice Azhar Bashir Baba; Pardeep Kumar, awaiting adjustment, has been posted as Deputy Commandant IR-2nd Battalion against an available vacancy; Syed Majeed Mosavi, awaiting adjustment, has been posted as Deputy Commandant IR-19th Battalion against an available vacancy; Musadiq Majid Basu, awaiting adjustment, has been posted as ASP Rajouri vice Vivek Shekhar Sharma; Salim Jahangir Lone, awaiting adjustment, has been posted as ASP Security, Kashmir, said the order.
“One post from overall reserves shall be utilised for the purpose of drawl of salary of the officer (Lone),” it said.
Additionally, it has been directed that Showkat Ahmad Dar, awaiting adjustment, has been posted as SP North Srinagar, vice Zoheb Tanweer; Manish Kumar Sharma, awaiting adjustment, has been posted as ASP Railways, Jammu against an available vacancy; and Imtiaz Ahmed, awaiting adjustment, has been posted as Deputy Commandant IR-10th Battalion against an available vacancy.
