The bench of Justices Surya Kant and KV Viswanathan allowed Sharad Pawar to move the Election Commission for allocation of party symbol. The top court asked the poll panel to allot the same within a week. The SC-bench also sought Ajit Pawar’s response on Sharad Pawar’s plea against EC’s February 7 order of recognising the Maharashtra deputy CM-led faction as the real NCP.
