JAMMU, Mar 30: Two more candidates including sitting BJP MP Jugal Kishore Sharma today filed their nomination papers from Jammu Lok Sabha constituency for second phase of ensuing Parliamentary elections scheduled to be held on April 26.
Besides Sharma, Surinder Singh filed papers as an Independent candidate in the office of Returning Officer Jammu Lok Sabha constituency.

With filing of nomination papers by the two candidates, the total number of candidates who have filed their candidature for Jammu seat has gone up to four.
The last day for filing of nomination papers is April 4 up to 3 PM.
Meanwhile, on the last day of withdrawal of candidature in Udhampur Parliamentary constituency, no candidate withdrew paper’s, maintaining the total figure of 12 candidates in the fray.
Dr. Jitendra Singh (BJP), Choudhary Lal Singh (Cong) , G M Saroori (DPAP) Amit Kumar from Bahujan Samaj Party, Balwan Singh from J&K National Panthers Party (Bhim), Manoj Kumar from Ekam Sanatan Bharat Dal besides Dr Pankaj Sharma, Rajesh Manchanda, Sachin Gupta, Swarn Veer Singh Jaral, Mohd Ali Gujjar and Mehraj Din as Independent candidates.
The constituency is going to the elections in 1st Phase on April 19.
Meanwhile, the process of allotting election symbols to the contesting candidates was also completed today by the Returning Officer.
