JAMMU, Apr 16: Utkarsh Lalit Kala Academy, Lucknow has announced Life Time Achievement Award for well known artist OP Sharma from Jammu and he will be honoured during a felicitation ceremony at Kala Srot Art Gallery, near Nehru Bal Vatika, Aliganj in Lucknow on June 23, 2024.
Sharma will be honoured for his all round contribution in the field of art and promotion of art and culture.
OP Sharma is a well known artist of J&K and he is the Founder Director of J&K Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu.
He has participated in a number of state, national and international art exhibitions and artist camps organized by many prestigious organizations of the country as well as by JKCCA.
Sharma has been awarded and honoured by many organizations including Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi; Indian Academy of Fine Arts, Amritsar; Snehil, Dehradun; Lalit Kala Akademi, Bhubneshwar (Odissa); Department of Culture, Hyderabad; J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages and MKP PG College, Dehradun and others.
Art work of OP Sharma would be displayed at 6th All India Art Exhibition to be organized by Utkarsh Lalit Kala Academy, Lucknow from June 21 to 23, 2024 at Lucknow.
