JAMMU, May 24: Police in Jammu South Area claimed that they have seized three vehicles for their involvement in illegal mining.
A police official said that Police Post Gadigarh seized one tipper (JK02CH-0340) loaded with sand mined illegally.
In another instance, he said, a team of Police Post Belicharana seized two dumpers (JK02CJ-7151 and JK02CB-5491) transporting sand without necessary documents.
District Mining Officer has been informed about the recoveries made, he added.
