JAMMU, June 19: Wrestling Association of J&K will organize J&K-UT U-17 Wrestling Championship scheduled at Jammu University Wrestling Hall on June 22-23 in collaboration with the Directorate of Sports & Physical Education University of Jammu under the auspices of Wrestling Federation of India, J&K Sports Council and J&K Olympic Association.
Organisers said the winner of each weight category will represent J&K in the upcoming U-17 National Wrestling Championship at Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand from July 5 to 7. The Wrestlers born in 2007, 2008 are eligible to take part and those born in 2009 may participate with medical & parental certificates.
They said all the eligible wrestlers of the J&K-UT, both Boys and Girls have asked to report at the above mentioned venue at 8 am along with a photocopy of Aadhar card and two passport size photographs.
