JAMMU, July 27: A truck driver died after the vehicle he was driving rammed into a stationary trolley on the Ring Road here.
Puneet Kumar from Udhampur District received fatal injuries after his truck hit a stationary vehicle on the Ring Road near Ratnal Village on Samba-Bishnah stretch of the road on the intervening night of Friday-Saturday, police said.
On getting information, the body of the deceased driver was shifted to a healthcare facility for conducting the post-mortem, they said, adding that a case under the relevant sections of the law has been registered at concerned police station and further investigation taken up.
