JAMMU, Aug 19: Unidentified thieves decamped with around 5 tolas (approximately 58 grams) of gold and Rs 20000 in cash from a house in Bishnah Area.
A police official said the theft was committed in the house of one Rashpaul resident of Chak Majra, Bishnah, around 4 pm on Sunday when his family members were out to attend a function in the house of their relatives.

On seeing the locks of several doors in his house broken, with a variety of gold items and cash stolen, one of the family members approached police, he said.
On receipt of the complaint, he said, a case FIR number 122/2024 under section 333(3) BNS has been registered at Police Station Bishnah and teams have been constituted to trace and arrest the accused person(s).
