LEH, Nov 14: The Union Territory administration of Ladakh has updated its Homestay Policy 2023, prioritizing incentives for households with no other income sources, including ex-servicemen, women self-help groups, and new entrepreneurs without prior experience in the tourism sector. According to the addendum, those already running tourism-related businesses, such as hotels or travel agencies, will not qualify for these benefits. Other policy terms remain unchanged.
