JAMMU, Dec 7: The Swachh Bharat BIG Cricket League (SBBCL) 2024 here today in day 4 saw two exhilarating matches at Jammu Sports Club Kot Tawa.
In first match, Swachhta Strikers faced off against District Administration Samba XI.
Winning toss, District Administration opted to bat first but struggled against the formidable bowling attack of Swachhta Strikers’ captain, Kapil. His exceptional five-wicket haul dismantled the batting lineup, bundling rival team out for a meager 70 runs.
Kapil’s precision and dominance earned him the title ‘Man of the Match’. Swachhta Strikers comfortably chased the target in just 13 overs, securing a comprehensive victory.
In second match, Tawi Challengers go head-to-head with Swachhta Warriors.
Batting first, Tawi Challengers posted a massive total of 218 runs with Captain Munish’s outstanding knock of 56 and Sukhi’s solid contribution of 39 runs.
Munish further impressed with his all-round performance, delivering key overs with the ball to restrict the opposition. For his brilliant showing with both bat and ball, Munish was declared ‘Man of the Match’.
Swachhta Warriors, despite Suraj’s valiant effort of 32 runs off 14 balls, could not withstand the pressure and were bowled out for 92 runs, resulting in a dominant 126-run victory for Tawi Challengers.
