J&K Sqay players shine at Nationals

JAMMU, Dec 12: Jammu and Kashmir Sqay players showed exceptional performance in the 25th Cadet, Sub-Junior and Junior National Sqay Championship which was held at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Panchkula, Haryana.
The event saw participation from athletes across 26 States, bringing together over 1,000 competitors.
Jammu & Kashmir’s Sqay team showcased an outstanding performance, winning a total of 26 medals including 17 Gold, 6 Silver and 3 Bronze. This remarkable achievement underscores the talent and hard work of the athletes from Jammu & Kashmir, who displayed dedication and skill at the national level.
The closing ceremony was presided over by Vishal Kandwal, Commanding Officer of the 5 Signal CRPF, as the chief guest. The event was a grand celebration of Sqay, with the sportsmanship and competitive spirit on full display. In the overall ranking, Goa emerged as the Champion, followed by Maharashtra and Delhi, while Jammu & Kashmir secured a commendable 5th position.
