JAMMU, Jan 10: A delegation of Jammu Kashmir Coordination Committee of Trade Union (JKCCTU) led by Mohamad Maqbool State president and National Secretary All India State Government Employees Confederation(AISGEC) met Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir Atal Dulloo and submitted a memorandum regarding the burning issues facing the employees and workers.
While discussing the issues with the Chief Secretary Maqbool demanded immediate wage and regularization policy for all temporary/ daily wage workers, revival of old pension scheme, Releasing of 3% pending DA to Govt employees, enhancement of Medical allowance to Rs 1000, implementation of SRO 59 and 149 and settlement of pending pension cases, ensuring full democratic and trade union rights and implementation of labour laws etc.
The delegation was comprised of Gurmeet Singh- general secretary, Dr Shashipal Singh-senior vice president, and Provincial president, Venaik Sharma (State, Secretary), Ravinder Singh Raina, Surinder Sharma, Ajay Sharma and Ram Das.
Chief Secretary listened the delegation very patiently and assured to look into all the demands and directed the Special Secretary to take up the issues with the concerned departmental heads.
