RAJOURI, Mar 17: The much-awaited Sunderbani Premier League 2025 was inaugurated today with immense excitement at Sunderbani. Organized by the Sunderbani Cricket Association with active support from the Indian Army, the annual cricket tournament aims to engage local youth, foster sportsmanship and strengthen ties between the community and security forces.
This year, 14 teams from across the region will compete for the coveted title, with 48 matches scheduled from March 17 to April 14, 2025. The tournament was inaugurated by the Commander of the 28 Infantry Brigade, who encouraged the participating teams and underscored the Army’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote harmony and a healthy lifestyle. The Brigade Commander highlighted the importance of sports in character-building and teamwork-qualities essential for a progressive society.
