JAMMU, Mar 29: Sanskar Bharati, Jammu-Kashmir released its ‘Panchang’ (Indian Calendar) for Vikrami Samvat 2082 Yugawat 5127, in a function organized at Press Club, here today.
The Panchang was released in the presence of vice-presidents of Sanskar Bharati Jammu Kashmir, Ashwani Kumar and Dr Joginder Singh, secretary Joginder Sahni, coordinator Ajay Sharma and special guest Pt Suneet Shastri.
Speaking to reporters on the occasion, Ashwani Kumar said that this edition of the Panchang gives information about the Indian calendar year and local fasts as well as festivals. He added that this Panchang has been prepared by general secretary Ajay Bharti after compiling 4-5 Panchangs.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Padamshri Romalo Ram and Aayush Gupta.
