JAMMU, Apr 7: In a bid to strengthen internal functioning and enhance public service delivery, SP City South Ajay Sharma held an interaction with MSIs, MASIs, and MHCs of South Zone. He reviewed the maintenance of registers, condition of police lock-ups and malkhanas, and general preparedness at the Police Station and Police Post level.
All concerned officials were directed to ensure proper maintenance and timely updating of registers, upkeep and cleanliness of lock-ups and malkhanas, and observance of a polite and friendly approach while dealing with complainants and visitors. Sharma also emphasized adherence to departmental orders, immediate compliance with correspondence, and accountability in day-to-day functioning.
The South Zone Police remains committed to continuing strict action against illegal mining and ensuring transparency and accountability in police functioning.
“The citizens and netizens have widely appreciated the result oriented efforts of Jammu police reflecting the community’s support for the ongoing drive to protect the environment,” Sharma said.
