JAMMU, Apr 26: A woman has been arrested by police in Channi Himmat area here for stealing gold ornaments from a house she worked in as a domestic help.
Payal of Shankar Colony, Ward number 57, Gangyal has been arrested for stealing gold ornaments from a house in Channi Himmat area, police sources said.
The woman was arrested after thorough investigation by police into a theft case reported from the area, they said.
The accused has been booked in case FIR number 68/2025 under section 303(3) of the BNS registered at Police Station Channi Himmat and further investigation has been taken up.
