PUNE, Sept 13: The first convocation ceremony of FUEL Business School, under the FUEL Group of Educational Institutions working in the field of education, skill development and employability, will be held tomorrow in Pune.
Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, will be the Chief Guest at FUEL Group of Institutions’ first convocation tomorrow. During a press conference today, Dr. Ketan Deshpande, Chairman and CEO of FUEL, announced that 200 students will be awarded CSR scholarships and degrees this year.
As part of the ceremony, Gadkari will also inaugurate the PGDM program in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at FUEL Business School, marking a significant step forward in the institution’s commitment to developing future leaders in emerging technologies, Dr Deshpande added.
The event will also coincide with the celebration of FUEL’s 19th Foundation Day, guided by the principles of One Vision, One Mission, and a Skilled Nation. Chief Mentor Santosh Huralikoppi and FUEL COO Mayuri Deshpande will be present to join in the celebrations.
Dr Deshpande stated that students from undergraduate, postgraduate and CSR-supported certificate programs will be conferred their degrees and certificates. Additionally, individuals working in the CSR domain will be honoured by the Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Leadership Award.
A CSR and HR panel discussion featuring prominent corporate leaders from across the country will also be held as part of the event.
FUEL, recognized both nationally and internationally, has been honoured with the Champions of Change Award presented by the Prime Minister.
Recently, the institution signed a significant MoU with the government of Maharashtra at the World Economic Forum, aimed at promoting youth empowerment and skill development, Dr Deshpande added. (UNI)
