SBI Officers Association holds General Council at Panchkula

JAMMU, Sept 14: The Chandigarh Circle of the State Bank of India Officers’ Association held its 13th Triennial General Council today at the Indradhanush Auditorium, Sector 5, Panchkula.
The event was attended by more than 2000 SBI officers from J&K, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab , Haryana and Chandigarh.
Krishan Sharma, Chief General Manager, SBI Chandigarh Circle, graced the occasion virtually and delivered the inaugural address, appreciating the efforts of the Association and underlining the importance of officers’ role in strengthening the banking system.
Rupam Roy, general secretary, AISBOF & AIBOC, delivered the keynote address, setting the tone of the deliberations with his insights on pressing issues faced by bank officers and apprising the gathering with latest updates.
The gathering was also addressed by Arun Kr Bishoyi, president AISBOF, along with other distinguished dignitaries including SBI General Managers, Manmeet S. Chhabra (NW-1), and Neeraj Bharti (NW-2).
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of delegates and senior leadership from SBI Circles across the country—Ahmedabad, Amravathi, Bengaluru, Bengal, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kerala, Maharashtra, Mumbai, Northeast, Patna, among others, making it a vibrant congregation of officer representatives.
Com Priyvrat, general secretary SBI Officers’ Association, shared that the Triennial General Council became a platform for collective discussions on key issues concerning the banking sector, officer welfare, and organizational goals.
