On PM’s birthday, Swami Ramdev announces scholarships, free liver treatment

DELHI, Sept 17: On 75th birthday of PM Narendra Modi, Swami Ramdev of Patanjali Yogpeeth has announced scholarships for meritorious students and free treatment for liver ailments across the country.
Addressing a press conference here today, Swami Ramdev said that the students standing first, second and third in CBSE, BSB (Bhartiya Shiksha Board) or State Board exams will be awarded cash prizes from Rs. 11,000 to Rs. 51,000 by Patanjali Yogpeeth to boost their morale.
He also said that at 750 places in the country, free medical checkups and Yoga Health Camps will be organised to treat the patients of chronic liver diseases, fatty livers and liver psoriasis.
Swami Ramdev further said that for the call of PM Modi to make India a leading economic power in the world, the slogan of ‘Vocal for Local’ should be taken to every village in form of a public movement.
“To strengthen PM’s initiative of developed India, the movement for indigenous products will help a lot and will make our nation economic superpower,” he maintained adding that the dream of ‘Viksit Bharat’ should not be of the PM alone but also of the 145 crore Indians.
Swami Ramdev also said that the towering personality of PM Modi has left its marks in the entire of the world and the leadership of PM Modi has touched the people across the globe.
On this occasion BSB Chairman, N.P Singh expressed gratitude towards PM Modi for the establishment of BSB.
