World is aware of the nexus between terrorists, Pakistani state, and military: India

NEW DELHI, Sep 19 : India today called out Pakistan over its support to terrorists and cross-border terrorism, saying the world is aware of the nexus between terrorist outfits and the Pakistani State and military, in the wake of recent videos showing Jaish and LeT commanders in Pakistan.
Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said at the weekly briefing: “On terrorism matters, we are clear that the world is aware of the nexus between the terrorists and the Pakistani state and the military. Such statements make it even more glaring,” he said referring to the speeches made by the JeM and LeT terrorists.
He said the global community fully realises that the world has to fight terrorism and cross-border terrorism. He referred to the declarations adopted by recent multilateral summits, which highlighted the need to step up efforts to combat terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
The spokesperson’s statement comes in the wake of several videos circulating on social media, where key operatives from terror groups JeM and LeT openly discuss activities in their camps located in Pakistan.
In one video a JeM commander is heard admitting that the family of the outfit’s founder Masood Azhar was “torn to shreds” during the Indian strikes on May 7 night, on its headquarters Markaz Taiba in Muridke. In the video JeM commander Masood Ilyas Kashmiri is heard admitting to the substantial losses suffered by the terror group during India’s Operation Sindoor.
Another video shows LeT commander Qaasim admitting that its terrorist camp in Pakistan’s Punjab province, which was destroyed during Operation Sindoor, is being reconstructed and reportedly being made bigger.
The MEA spokesperson also reiterated that there is no role for any third party in resolving issues between India and Pakistan.
“All issues between India and Pakistan are bilateral there is no scope for third-party mediation,” he said at Friday’s briefing. He was asked for his comments on recent statements made by Pakistan Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar about the latter’s talks with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in the wake of the India-Pakistan stand-off in May.
