JAMMU, Sept 20: The Shri Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha held a meeting under the chairmanship of Narayan Singh at the Sabha building in Purani Mandi Jammu and discussed some important issues besides announcing office bearers of Jammu Rural unit.
During the meeting, Jammu Rural District President Balbir Singh announced that Deepak Singh Charak has been appointed President of the Jammu Border District, Yudhvir Singh as Vice President, and Vikrant Dev Singh as Vice President of Jammu Rural District.
Speaking on the occasion, Sabha Chairman Narayan Singh expressed concern over alleged derogatory comments being circulated against the Rajput community on social media. He said that such remarks are aimed at inciting the community. “The Rajput community has always respected people of all religions, but strict action must be taken against individuals making derogatory statements on social media,” he added.
The meeting was attended by District President of Jammu Urban, Pawan Dev Singh, Rajinder Singh Jamwal, Naseeb Singh Jamwal, Sansar Singh, Fakir Singh, Jagdish Singh, and several other members of the Sabha.
