SRINAGAR, Sept 20: Soni Polyplas Private Limited organized its annual award distribution ceremony in Srinagar today, bringing together a large number of Racold dealers from Jammu, Kashmir and Leh.
Dr Farooq Abdullah, former Chief Minister of J&K, was the Chief Guest, while MLA Jammu East Yudhvir Sethi attended as Guest of Honor.
The event began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by a presentation from Sunil Aggarwal, Zonal Head (North & East) of Racold, who gave an overview of the company’s global presence under the Ariston Group.
He noted that Ariston, a pioneer in geysers, operates in 165 countries with 21 manufacturing plants and marked its 100th anniversary in Italy this week.
Sanjeev Soni, Director of Soni Polyplas, highlighted the achievements of local dealers, while Nikhil Salathia and Majid announced spot offers.
Awards were then presented by Dr Abdullah to top-performing dealers. M/s Langoo Traders bagged the award for highest sales in Kashmir, followed by M/s Spectra Bath Gallery and M/s Royal Sanitary and Marble in second and third place.
M/s M A Traders topped sales in South Kashmir, M/s Azad Traders in North Kashmir, M/s S K Hardware in Leh and Kargil, and M/s Matram Traders in Jammu region.
The evening also featured a cultural program with performances by Varsha Jamwal and Waquar Khan, who entertained the gathering with Kashmiri, Dogra and Hindi songs.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Dinesh Mudgil.
