JAMMU, Sept 21: The Jammu & Kashmir Branch of NIRC of ICAI successfully conducted the Branch Level Round of the CA Students’ Talent Search – 2025 at ICAI Bhawan, Canal Road, Jammu. Over 50 enthusiastic CA students showcased their talents in events such as Chess, Sketching, Drama and Instrumental Music.
The event witnessed intense competition and impressive performances. In Chess, Rithik Sharma secured the top spot, followed by Vasu Gupta. The Drama category, a team event, saw Vaibhavi Joshi and her team win first place, while Arnav Gupta’s team claimed the runner-up position. Prashant Sharma won in Instrumental Music, with Tejas Gupta as runner-up. Ayushi Sharma emerged as the winner in Sketching, followed by Ishika Mahajan.
The winners will now represent the J&K Branch at Regional Level, with potential to qualify for the National Grand Finale in October 2025. Branch Chairman CA Sourav Pargal congratulated all participants and appreciated their efforts to balance academics and extracurricular.
The event was graced by the presence of the J&K Branch Committee members Amit Gupta (Vice Chairman), Jatin Malhotra (Secretary), Sanchit Aggarwal (Treasurer) and Ayush Mahajan (Executive Member).
