JAMMU, Sept 27: The Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) is set to host eight national-level matches this season, including three prestigious Ranji Trophy fixtures, across both Jammu and Kashmir divisions.
According to an official handout, the lineup features three Ranji Trophy (Senior Men), three CK Nayudu Trophy (U-23 Men) and two Cooch Behar Trophy (U-19 Men) matches.
J&K will face Mumbai (Oct 15-18) and Rajasthan (Oct 25-28) in Srinagar, followed by Hyderabad (Nov 16-19) in Jammu. The U-23 and U-19 matches will be hosted at JKCA Hostel Ground and Jammu University Ground, with teams including Meghalaya, Baroda, Goa and Mumbai.
Brigadier Anil Gupta, Member Administration, JKCA, announced that only accredited journalists will be allowed entry. He also reiterated the ban on video recording and live broadcast, citing BCCI’s exclusive media rights. Accreditation applications are now open to media personnel.
