JAMMU, Sept 29: An unidentified individual was found dead under mysterious circumstances at Rajiv Nagar area here today.

Around 3:45-4 PM, some passerby noticed one persons lying in an unconscious state near NHW Bridge at Rajiv Nagar and informed the police, a police official said.
Accordingly, a team from Bagh-e-Bahu Police Station reached at the spot and shifted him to Government Medical College Jammu, where doctors declared him dead on arrival, he said.
While the body of the deceased individual has been shifted to the mortuary of the Government Medical College for post-mortem and identification purposes, police have initiated inquest proceedings to further probe into the matter.
