JAMMU, Sept 30: A fire broke out at a residential structure at Pamposh Colony here today.
Officials said the fire broke out this afternoon in the one of the rooms of one Roshan Lal Raina, which has been rented out to another individual.
The tenant lost several items, including gold, cash, and documents worth lakhs in the devastating fire, they said.
According to them, the fire was controlled after hectic efforts by the teams of Police Station Janipur led by SHO Inspector Vikram Sharma and Fire and Emergency Department.
Meanwhile, police have started investigation to find out the reasons behind the fire.
