Free Physiotherapy Centre, Dispensary inaugurated

JAMMU, Oct 2: Home for the Aged & Infirm, Ambphalla here in collaboration with Savitri Devi Jagiri Lal Charitable Trust, Jammu, started a free Physiotherapy Centre and a Medical Allopathic Dispensary within the premises of the Home.
The Centre was inaugurated by Sat Pal Sharma, J&K BJP president along with Yudhvir Sethi, MLA.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Pal Sharma expressed appreciation for the Trust’s commitment towards extending much-needed medical and physiotherapy facilities to the elderly and the underprivileged.
He emphasized that this initiative would be of immense help to the inmates of the Vridh Ashram, who will now have access to completely free services.
A handout stated that members of the general public can avail the facilities at the newly inaugurated centre at a nominal registration fee of Rs. 20 and the Centre will function daily from 10 am to 2 pm, except on Sundays.
On this occasion, R.S Gupta, Managing Trustee of the Savitri Devi Jagiri Lal Charitable Trust, along with Sham Anand, Manager of the Free Dispensary and Physiotherapy Centre, highlighted the Trust’s long-standing contribution towards humanitarian causes and community service.
Dr. Dinesh Gupta, secretary accompanied by Vijay Gupta, joint secretary, R.C Vaid and Sat Pal Sharma, MCMs of the Home for the Aged & Infirm, also spoke on the occasion.
Special guests and other dignitaries present on the occasion appealed to the public to make the best use of the newly inaugurated facility.
