SAMBA, Oct 2: Samba police has seized five dumpers in the jurisdiction of Police Stations (PS) Samba, Ghagwal and Purmandal which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police teams headed by SHO PS Samba, SHO PS Purmandal, in charges of Police Posts (PP) Supwal and Rakh Amb Talli of PS Samba and in charge of Police Post (PP) Rajpura of PS Ghagwal while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas, have seized five dumpers bearing Registration Numbers JK14D-9133, JK21C-2988, JK21G-9245, JK21G-0151 and JK21D-0133 which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.
All the vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action, police said.
The Seizure was made under the supervision of SSP Samba Virinder Manhas.
