JAMMU, Oct 4: Demonstrating its strong commitment to social responsibility, Jodhamal Public School, Jammu, has extended a generous hand of support to the victims of the recent floods in J&K. In a unified effort involving the school management, staff, students and parents, the school raised Rs 5 lakhs to aid relief operations.
The donation cheque was formally presented to Rakesh Minhas, Deputy Commissioner, Jammu and Ansuya Jamwal, Additional Deputy Commissioner, by the school’s student leaders: Head Girl Guhika Sachdev, Head Boy Puneesh Singh Manhas, Deputy Head Girl Gunjot Kour, Deputy Head Boy Rajanya Ratta, Junior Head Girl Sara Nawaz and Junior Head Boy Namit Malhotra at the DC Office, Jammu.
Principal Dr. Deep Khare and Vice Principal Amita Arora extended heartfelt thanks to the school community for their compassion and generosity.
