JAMMU, Oct 5: The Jammu & Kashmir UT Yoga team has departed for Mysore, Karnataka, to participate in the 50th (Golden Jubilee) Senior National Yoga Sports Championship, scheduled from October 9 to 12, 2025.
The team was flagged off by patron-in-chief Sudarshan Didi, Vice President Ravinder Bali, Secretary General Vinod Bhatia and members of the Brahma Kumaris. President of the Yoga Association of J&K, Akhil Kapahi, extended his best wishes to the players.
Led by National Referees of the Yoga Federation of India – Mukesh Sharma, Anushka Koul and Aryaaveer Singh – the 12-member contingent includes Nandini Sharma, Sakshi Sharma, Sonali Sadotra, Anjali Devi, Naina Sharma, Meenakshi Thakur, Dev Mehra, Akarsh Sharma, Tarun Kumar and Sunil Singh.
