JAMMU, Oct 8: Director Health Services (DHS) Jammu, Dr Abdul Hamid Zargar visited the Sub District Hospital (SDH) Kot Bhalwal to review the functioning of the institution and assess the quality of healthcare services being provided to the public.
During the visit, the DHS inspected various sections of the hospital including the Outpatient Department (OPD), Emergency Wing, Labour Room, Pharmacy and Laboratory. He interacted with the medical and paramedical staff, and took feedback from patients regarding the facilities and services available at the hospital.
Dr Zargar emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness, punctuality and patient-friendly behavior among all staff members. He directed the hospital authorities to ensure the uninterrupted availability of essential drugs, diagnostics and emergency services.
The Director also reviewed the ongoing National Health Programmes and instructed the concerned officers to ensure effective implementation of Government health schemes like AB-PMJAY, JSSK and JSSY for the benefit of the community.
The visit concluded with an interactive meeting with the hospital staff, where key issues related to patient care, record maintenance, and sanitation were discussed.
Dr Zargar assured that all necessary support will be extended by the Directorate to further strengthen health infrastructure and manpower at SDH Kot Bhalwal.
