JAMMU, Oct 11: JP World School here today in collaboration with Fortis Hospital, Gurugram and American Oncology Institute (AOI), Jammu, organized an awareness seminar on Breast Cancer as part of its ongoing health and wellness initiative for parents and the staff.
The session was led by Dr. Amit Sahni, Senior Consultant, Surgical Oncology, Fortis Gurugram and Dr. Surbhi Kidhar, Associate Surgical Oncologist, AOI, Jammu.
Both these doctors addressed the audience on the importance of early detection, regular screening and maintaining a healthy lifestyle to prevent breast cancer. Principal Aparna Kohli shared that the purpose of conducting such an awareness seminar was to sensitize different generations about health risks and emphasize that awareness, balanced eating habits and early detection can truly save lives.
