NEW DELHI, Oct 12: Renowned socio-political figure and filmmaker Jayesh Gupta was the guest of honour at prestigious UFMC International Film Festival, in Delhi from October 11 to 12.
The event brought together over 100 eminent personalities including renowned filmmakers, actors, artists and cultural ambassadors from across the globe.
The festival culminated in a vibrant awards distribution ceremony today, where Jayesh presented awards to several distinguished winners.
In his keynote speech, Jayesh passionately spoke about the breathtaking beauty and untapped cinematic potential of J&K.
He encouraged filmmakers from around the world to explore the region for their upcoming projects highlighting its unique landscapes and picturesque locations that are rarely found elsewhere.
“J&K offers an unmatched natural backdrop for filmmaking,” Jayesh said adding: “The government is highly supportive of the film industry and provides attractive subsidies and logistical support to filmmakers. I urge global artists to consider this majestic region for their future productions.”
Jayesh’s speech was widely appreciated for shedding light on the artistic and economic potential of J&K, positioning it as a future hub for cinematic excellence.
