SANASAR, Oct 12: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) district president and former MLA, Neelam Langeh, today visited flood-affected Sana Panchayat of Sanasar and distributed ration and essential commodities among the affected families.
The distribution included food grains, cooking oil, pulses and other daily-use essentials.
The initiative was part of the party’s outreach effort to support people facing hardship due to recent heavy rains and flash floods in the region.
Langeh, accompanied by several BJP workers and local party functionaries, personally interacted with the affected residents to assess their needs and ensure timely relief.
Speaking on the occasion, Langeh said, “The BJP under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi stands firmly with every citizen in times of crisis. We are committed to providing all possible assistance to those affected by natural calamities.”
He said, “The administration has been alerted about the losses suffered by families and efforts are underway to ensure adequate rehabilitation and compensation. The Modi government’s focus has always been on “seva” (service) and “samarpan” (dedication), ensuring that no one is left behind in times of distress.”
“It is our moral and social responsibility to stand with our brothers and sisters affected by floods. The government and the BJP organisation are working hand in hand to provide timely help,” he added.
Langeh appreciated the efforts of local party workers who voluntarily participated in the relief distribution drive and urged them to continue reaching out to needy families and ensure that government welfare schemes and assistance reach every household affected by the disaster.
Local representatives and a large number of party workers were also present during the distribution drive.
