JAMMU, Oct 12: A two-day rural sports competition organized by Mera Yuva Bharat Jammu (Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, GoI) in collaboration with J&K Dehati Sewa Sanstha, Jindermelu, concluded with final matches. Players from Blocks RS Pura, Satwari and Mira Sahib competed in volleyball, Badminton, Tug-of-War and Running events. Rathana Volleyball Club defeated Village Jindermelu in the final Volleyball match. CMO (Retd.) Girdhari Lal Dogra was the chief guest, joined by BJP district president Rinku Chaudhary, Devi Dita Neeta and others. Winners were felicitated with trophies and medals. Gara Ram Motan, President of Dehati Sewa Sanstha, announced similar events will be organized in more blocks to promote sports and youth engagement.
