Srinagar, Oct 15: The Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC), constituted under the chairmanship of IGP Kashmir V. K. Birdi, today approved the promotion of 650 Head Constables to the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspector.
The DPC was constituted for assessing the suitability of eligible Head Constables for elevation to the next rank.
