JAMMU, Oct 15: Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET), Jammu, under the aegis of the JGEI Group, organized a session titled “Entrepreneurship: The Drive to Shape Your Future.”
The event aimed to inspire students towards innovation and entrepreneurial thinking. The guest speaker, Dr. Sanjay Mohan, CEO of SMVDU-Technology Business Incubation Centre, delivered an engaging talk on creativity, risk-taking and building value through entrepreneurship.
He highlighted India’s startup ecosystem, the role of incubation centres like SMVDU-TBIC and initiatives such as Startup India and the J&K YUVA Scheme. The session began with a welcome address by Er. Lovneesh Talwar, HoD, Electrical Engineering and concluded with a vote of thanks by Er. Rajneesh Magotra, HoD, Civil Engineering. Dr. Mohan’s words motivated students to explore beyond traditional career paths. The event was supported by the YCET Management, Dean, faculty members, and the coordination committee, who ensured its successful execution.
